Fractional Ownership
Fractional Ownership is the practice of dividing an expensive asset (in this case a 59ft Motor Yacht) into percentage shares and selling those shares to individual owners. This is not a Timeshare program where a corporation owns many yachts at multiple locations, and each shareholder has the rights to use any of them. Nor is it a boat club, where boaters pay a fee for unlimited access to a fleet of boats at one location. Fractional Owners actually own a share of one boat-possessing equity in that purchase.

- MY Virgin Vanquish is the first Yacht. She is the latest Mk of 56, in fact she is 59ft LOA. These proven Yachts are handmade by Horizon Yachts, full specs available upon request and details of them can also be found on www.virgintraders.com
- How much does it cost?
- $89,900. USD Per Share. A share represents 10% and is within an LLC Structure
- How do I have ownership in the Yacht?
- Each boat is owned by an individual LLC that is established with the yacht shareowners as company shareholders.
- How often can I use the Yacht?
- Each share owned gives the Owner 4 weeks per annum onboard the Yacht
- What if I want more time on the Yacht?
- You are not limited to only one share, if you need more weeks then ask us about Multiple Share Ownership.
- Do I have to be on board for my guests to use my time?
- No you don't, family, guests or clients may use your time aboard. All you need to do is to instruct us as your management team to sort this out for you.
- Where are the boats kept?
- Virgin Traders Homebase is at Nanny Cay Marina on the Island of Tortola. This is the main Island of the group known collectively as the British Virgin Islands.
- Can I Sell My Shares?
- Yes, you may sell your shares at any time, Virgin Traders will assist you every step of the way on this. You might also wish to 'Step Up' to a larger Yacht with Virgin Traders and we can discuss the 'rolling' of funds into a New or larger Yacht.
- Can we rent or charter our time to others?
- Yes you can, if you decide that you wish to Charter one of yours 'weeks' to a third party then Virgin Traders will organize that and apply the charter income to your 'Owners Account'.
- What if I can’t use my asset during some of my scheduled time?
- You will find that Virgin Traders team is a flexible and helpful organization. If unforeseen events occur then we would seek to reschedule your time aboard, if the Virgin Vanquish was not available as she was being used by another Owner it is likely that one of our other Yachts could be made available.
